The goal is to have clean, functional, durable track parts that doesn't cost big brand prices. We went with steel brackets over aluminum because equally thick aluminum brackets can develop cracks overtime(vibration/flex/stress) on the bend radius.
We didn't want clients to have to figure out how to make their own bracket out of misc material. I've seen some overkill while others being too flimsy.
