Engineering Design Notes 

☆ We selected M12 x 1.75 pitch thread since it’s the OE spec for Honda tow hooks. All of our bumper bars have the M12 option. Non-Honda clients (Mazda, BWM, ect) will find their OE tow hook will not work with the M12 bung. 

 

☆ We selected stainless steel for its anti-corrosion properties for lasting shine. It was important to have a tow strap that was proportionate to the chassis. May aftermarket straps are too long, resulting in a sloppy look. 

☆ We designed the billet eyelet to be compact and just large enough to house the strap. Some racing organizations require a soft tow strap to prevent additional body damage in event of light contact. This piece is compact, no sharp edges and non-intrusive.
